Beauty, Skincare, and Accessories to Shop from Black Owned Brands
1. Affordable Vitamin C Serum for Glowing Skin – Hyper Skin Vitamin C Serum ($36)
The Hyper Skin Vitamin C serum was created to help fight hyperpigmentation, brighten, and clear your skin. This would be a great gift for a friend who’s been looking to add Vitamin C into their morning routine. Plus, how cute and fun is the packaging? Buh-bye dark spots.
2. Skincare Gift Ideas: Cleansing Duo for Skincare Newbies – Buttah Vibe + Cleanse Kit ($49.99)
For the friend on your list who’s just starting to get into skincare – this kit from Buttah Skincare would be so helpful. It comes with their sonic silicone facial cleansing brush and a facial cleanser. I use a sonic cleansing brush and it makes your skin feel so much cleaner than just washing with your hands. Plus, because it’s antimicrobial, you don’t need to worry about it spreading bacteria or dirt on your face.
3. A Soothing Skin Souffle for Sensitive Skin, Eczema, and More – Beneath Your Mask Heal Whipped Skin Souffle
With soothing ingredients like shea butter, vitamin E, grapeseed oil and cloudberry seed oil, this skin souffle is a must have for anyone on your list who’s been suffering from sensitized skin, redness and acne from wearing a face mask. Their face will thank you!
4. A skincare starter set – Rosen Skincare Holiday Kits
I think of this as a great gift for a younger sibling or friend who doesn’t really know where to start with skincare. They have options for acne and hyperpigmentation, so I would sneakily ask your friend what their biggest skincare struggle is so you can pick accordingly. Rosen also has a lot of other skincare products so you can find some good stocking stuffers as well – like their breakout stick.
5. Luxurious AF Body Care for the Boujee B*tch on Your List – Oui the People
Everything that Oui the People sells screams luxury. Perfect for your friend who cares as much about the skin on their body as the skin on their face. From a boujee AF gold razor, bath soak + body gloss duo, to a bikini line sheet mask – this brand makes gorgeous gifts for the people in your life who love to treat themselves or take self-care seriously. And the products will all look stunning on their bathroom counter.
6. Cute AF lip and eye masks – KNC Beauty
KNC Beauty makes these adorable pink collagen lip masks as well as these retinol infused under eye masks. Perfect as stocking stuffers or cute gifts for a skincare obsessed friend! They also make this mint lip balm which is an absolute necessity when wearing a mask.
7. For the Friend Who Refuses to Leave the House without Jewelry – Stella & Haas
I discovered Stella & Haas over the summer, and the jewelry I’ve ordered from them is on constant rotation. Everything they make is so stunning and I haven’t experienced any tarnishing or discoloration from any of their necklaces. Some super-cute items that would make perfect gifts:
- Zodiac Babe Necklace
- Old English Initial Necklace
- Mini Binge-Worthy Hoops
- The Turner Gold Chain Necklace
- Gold Filled Bead Bracelets
- Subtle Bling Bracelet
Really you can’t go wrong with anything from Stella & Haas. Plus, they ship super quick (in my experience.)
8. For the Friend Who Seriously Misses Getting Mani Pedis – Mischo Beauty
Mischo Beauty makes gorgeous, glossy and 10-free nail polishes. This beautiful and vibrant red polish would be perfect for the holidays and this deep plum would look gorgeous with gold rings. They have a lot of pretty colors so you could get more than one, or use as stocking stuffers,
I am a die-hard body exfoliator kinda girl. Loofahs gross me out, but a long sheet-like exfoliator is my secret to having baby smooth skin all over your body. LUV SCRUB makes a bunch of body exfoliators in cute colors – I really love this minty blue color! Pair this with a body oil from Oui the People and you’ve got a gorgeous body care set.
10. Stocking Stuffer for An Amazing Face Beat – DSMD Shop Beauty Sponges
For someone on your list who loves to go all out with their makeup, a beauty sponge is necessary. I came across these beauty sponges from DSMD shop and am obsessed! I hate when beauty sponges are too small – the DSMD sponges are HUGE. They’re the key to making your makeup not look cakey and applying cream and liquid-based products. Plus, at only $6 you might as well throw them in everyone’s stocking.
11. For your favorite Instagram influencer – Eternally in Amber Hair Accessories
Eternally in Amber seriously makes some of the most gorgeous, Instagrammable hair accessories I’ve ever seen. From gorgeous tortoiseshell wide tooth combs, to fun sparkly hair clips, you’ll definitely be able to find some cute stocking stuffers from their store.
12. For Your Friend Who Seriously Needs to Chill TF Out – Plant-Based Mary Jane Hemp Extract
I started using CBD this year and I think it actually makes a difference in my ‘chill’ factor. For a friend or relative who’s been super stressed this year (haven’t we all), this would be a great idea. They also make a soothing peppermint rub – so festive, and awesome for anyone who complains of chronic pain.
13. For the friend who uses heat tools a little too much – Briogeo Detox & Restore Set
I love Briogeo’s hair products – not only do they smell INCREDIBLE, but they have options for all hair types. This set comes with a scalp scrub and hair mask – so ideal for someone whose hair could use a little TLC.
14. Blush and Bronzer Duo for Beach Babes – Mented Cosmetics Holiday Cheeky Duo ($40)
The Holiday Cheeky Duo from Mented Cosmetics comes in four different shade combinations with options for different skin tones. As someone who lives off of blush and bronzer, I love the idea of this duo. Would be such a good gift for your mom, sister, or bestie. Can’t go wrong. Mented Cosmetics also sells some of their lip products at Target, which makes for a cute addition to this gift or stocking stuffer!
